Please take action to support clean energy in Ohio
It's time for the Ohio Power Siting Board to hear from Ohioans like you as they begin their review process of The Grange Solar Grazing Center in Logan County.
Counties across the state are putting local restrictions on solar energy. With your help, we have been fighting back, working to get solar projects approved by the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB). Earlier this year, we broke OPSB records with over 1,000 comments submitted on the Frasier Project in Knox County and over 700 were in support. These comments help them decide if the project is in the public interest.
The farmers and landowners in Logan County need your help
The Grange Solar Grazing Center is a proposed up to 500 MW solar agrivoltaic project in Logan County, Ohio. Grange will be located in the general vicinity of Indian Lake in portions of Bloomfield, Richland, McArthur, Washington, and Stokes Townships. Grange is a dual-use solar and grazing facility that will occupy approximately 2,570 acres if its permit is approved by the Ohio Power Siting Board. Grange will deliver over $5 million per year in tax revenue to local taxing jurisdictions and millions in donations to support long-term tornado recovery and Indian Lake-area community growth. It also helps them contribute to a cleaner environment, create local jobs, and support sustainable energy development in our state.
Please write today. The Ohio Power Siting Board needs to hear from all Ohioans who support a way to generate clean and local energy at low costs.Be sure to include your address so that the Siting Board knows these messages are from real Ohioans. We are hoping to get as many comments as possible in by February 14th.
