Democracy

In 2026, Ohioans will vote for governor, U.S. senator, state legislative seats, and county offices. The U.S. Senate seat – currently held by an appointed senator that no Ohioan had the chance to vote for – will be on the ballot. It is crucial for Ohioans to show up to the polls and choose their own representation.

Government works best when we all participate. That means showing up even when it feels hard, even when you’re not excited, even when you’ve sat out before. Ohio Citizen Action has been knocking on doors and having honest conversations with Ohioans about what it means to participate. We believe in your power to shape this state.
