Sam Roberts brings a career rooted in research science, nonprofit management, and rural community building to the Ohio Citizen Action board. He currently serves as the Ohio State Director for Farm-To-Power, where he works alongside farmers and rural landowners to build community support for renewable energy. Sam is also the founder and executive director of Morgan Community Support & Solutions, providing educational and community services to residents of Morgan County, Ohio.

Sam was drawn to Ohio Citizen Action through his work in the renewable energy space and quickly connected with the organization's long history of grassroots advocacy across the state. "I have a lot of experience working with nonprofit organizations and sitting on boards, and I'd like to provide that experience and insight to one that has such a strong impact in Ohio," he says.

When he's not working, Sam stays busy running, swimming, traveling, cooking, and gaming. His happy place is making a meal with his partner Kate, catching up on the day, and relaxing with their cats.
