Melody Linscott brings over 20 years of experience in strategic leadership, community engagement, and grassroots organizing. Growing up in the hills of Southeast Ohio, Melody witnessed firsthand the long-lasting negative impacts of resource extraction on the land and communities she loves. This early exposure to environmental and social challenges ignited her passion for driving positive change through citizen action and community empowerment.

Her diverse background spans corporate strategy, nonprofit management, and political campaigning. As Campaign Director for multiple Ohio political races, she managed volunteer teams and led canvassing operations reaching over 17,000 doors. Melody's nonprofit work includes directorial roles at ROY G BIV and Fresh AIR Gallery, where she expanded community impact and developed sustainable fundraising strategies. Her ability to build partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups and her connection to Ohio's environmental challenges aligns with Ohio Citizen Action's mission for a safer, healthier, and more just Ohio.
