Mark first joined Ohio Citizen Action as a phone canvasser in April 2006. Since then, he’s taken on many roles in the organization. A “Jack-of-all-trades”, he’s spent time phone canvassing, working as assistant and back-up processer in the Database and IT Department, assisting with the website, creating graphics and designing campaign materials, and before transitioning away from paper for door-to-door canvassing, he ran OCA’s in-house printing department and produced all campaign flyers, fact sheets, and other printed materials.

In 2010, Mark received the title Membership Development Coordinator and took over the lapsed member mailing program. Now, as Membership Development Manager, Mark oversees several major fundraising appeals each year and has started a new prospect mailing program. When he’s not learning a new skill at OCA or dropping off mail at the post office, Mark can likely be found hunting for vintage toys in the wild and playing competitive pinball somewhere in Northeast Ohio.
