It's time for the Ohio Power Siting Board to hear from Ohioans like you as they begin their review process of the Crossroads Solar project in Morrow County
Counties across the state are putting local restrictions on new solar developments. With your help, we have been fighting back and working to get solar projects approved by the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB). Over the past year, we have collected record numbers of supportive comments on three separate projects. These comments help the OPSB decide if the project is in the public interest.
The farmers and landowners in Morrow County need your help
The 94 megawatt Crossroads Solar project that is proposed within parts of Cardington, Lincoln, and Westfield Townships in Morrow County will benefit landowners by providing them with a steady source of income by diversifying their revenue streams. Solar development is often met with much more public opposition than other options that farmers can pursue for their land use, such as selling their land for housing development or commercial use. Solar also helps landowners contribute to a cleaner environment, create local jobs, and support sustainable energy development in our state.
Crossroads Solar not only provides income for individual landowners and the county, but is also proposed for dual use livestock grazing.
Please write today. The Ohio Power Siting Board needs to hear from all Ohioans who support a way to generate clean and local energy at low costs.
Be sure to include your address so that the Siting Board knows these messages are from real Ohioans.
We need to fill the docket with supportive comments before the upcoming public hearing.

- Crossroads Solar is important for Ohio's transition to cleaner and more sustainable energy sources, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and mitigating climate change.
- Incorporating solar into our all-of-the-above energy mix reduces costs, minimizes air pollution, and promotes a "Made in America" approach to energy, creating and preserving local, well-paying jobs that cannot be outsourced.
- The project can help reduce air pollution, leading to cleaner air quality and improved public health outcomes for all Ohio residents.
