Earth Day 2020 was extraordinary in many ways. Not only was it the 50th anniversary of this worldwide movement, but it was also Ohio Citizen Action's 45th anniversary. Further, we were marking both these important dates in the age of the Covid-19 pandemic -- these are truly unusual times we live in. The safety and health of our members and all Ohioans has long been at the core of our mission, so in that spirit Ohio Citizen Action decided to take Earth Day virtual this year!
We had several opportunities for members and supporters to come together to celebrate these milestones, take comfort with friends (safely!), and be energized for our ongoing fight to power a clean future for Ohio. The marquee event of this year's Virtual Earth Day festivities was the inaugural edition of "Conversations with Rachael Belz," our executive director.
For this first in what we plan to make a series of timely conversations about the latest issues in the climate movement, Ohio Citizen Action was proud to welcome Keya Chatterjee, Executive Direcgor of the U.S. Climate Action Network.
Missed it? Don't worry, we have you covered. Check out the video here, and be reinvigorated for action to come. And please, share it with others.
