Marion Schools to be moved off toxic site

Marion, OH. May 19 – Many Marion parents are saying it’s about time. After 3 years of investigating claims of contamination on the River Valley school site, and then promises that the site was actually safe, there is word that the high school and middle school will move. Officials say the move will be cheaper than the clean up. Yesterday , the U.S. House of Representives approved a bill that will give the Army Corp of Engineers the authority to help fund the relocation of schools on contaminated properties, NewsChannel 4’s Leslie Siegal has the latest.
