10. Auburn Ave. 07/ 29/07. 4:02 p.m. I see an explosion. There was the loudest explosion from Mittal steel I have ever heard. This was a huge boom and I honestly thought a truck blew up on the freeway near my house. Neighbors were coming out of houses all down Auburn. My friend in south Tremont closer to the plant called me immediately to tell me she heard the boom from the mill and it almost blew her out of her seat.
