Community Meeting on Air Pollution
Betts and Dr. Joe Skrha, Mittal Steel neighbors. Betts introduced herself and said, "I'm a lifelong resident of Broadway - North Broadway. We lived through Republic Steel, we lived through LTV, and now we have our new neighbors. So hopefully, we can make progress and it will be in a positive direction... we need to have really good - not promises - but action." Dr. Skrha said that his "biggest concern is the silver dust that's on the porches - the same dust that's in the air. We breathe that dust."
