Press advisory For 20 months, the U.S. EPA has been reviewing Ohio EPA's performance at the prompting of four Ohio organizations: Ohio Citizen Action, Sierra Club Ohio, Rivers Unlimited, and Ohio PIRG. On September 4, the U.S. EPA released a scathing draft report, and the next step is a public hearing in Columbus on November 13. There will be two hearing sessions, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Each session will start with a 30-minute presentation from Bert Frey, Deputy Regional Counsel for U.S. EPA's Region 5, followed by up to one hour of questions and answers, and then an hour and a half of public comments, limited to three minutes for each person.
