Davis-Besse
OAK HARBOR, Ohio — A Nuclear Regulatory
Commission oversight panel will hold two meetings tomorrow to review
progress at the Davis-Besse nuclear plant, which was shut down for
refueling when a hole was found in its reactor vessel head.
The first meeting will be from 2 to 5 p.m., when the
commission will meet with plant officials to discuss the replacement
of the reactor vessel head and other parts. The second meeting,
which will begin at 7 p.m., is to update the public about NRC's role
in investigating the corrosion of the reactor vessel
head.
Both meetings are open to the public and will be in the
Oak Harbor High School auditorium, 11661 West State Rt.
163.
