The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will travel
to Oak Harbor for two meetings Tuesday in the Oak Harbor High School
auditorium.
The meetings are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. During the first
meeting, the NRC will receive an update from FirstEnergy on its
progress in regards to the reactor head corrosion.
At that time, the NRC is expected to discuss, too, the findings
of a report in which violations of federal regulations were found.
During the second meeting NRC officials will update the public on
all matters regarding Davis-Besse.
Time for the public to ask questions and to comment has been set
aside at both sessions.
