Dear Ms. Vaclavikova:

I am writing in response to the press release issued November 17, 2005, in which you erroneously state that ConAgra Foods uses Teflon in its microwave popcorn bags. My letter to your group did not say what we use in the bags; according to your press release, you merely assumed we did.

The fact is ConAgra Foods does not use Teflon, Teflon pads, Teflon chemicals, or the chemical Zonyl in any of its popcorn bags or packaging of any of its other products. Therefore, because your press release contains false information, we insist that you remove the release from your website, ASAP; and cease and desist from communicating false information to our customers regarding our products. Publishing false information regarding a company’s products is a serious offense, and ConAgra will take all steps required to protect our business and or legal rights.

I look forward to hearing from you today that you have removed the offending press release, and the picture of our Orville product. Thank you.
