honor the organization can give. Since 1995 it has been
presented to Ohio grassroots leaders who best
reflect Sen. Metzenbaum’s example of principled
tenacity.

Howard M. Metzenbaum retired from the U.S. Senate in 1994,
Ohio Citizen Action decided to honor him by presenting an
award in his name. Throughout his service in the
Senate, Senator Metzenbaum’s name was synonymous with
fighting for what’s right. |
