BOOTH: Roberta Jones Booth passed away on Sunday July 20, 2003 at the Kobacker House Hospice surrounded by her husband Carl L. Booth, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Booth; sons and daughters-in-law Michael S. and Tressia Jones, Talbert and Bettie Jones, Jr., Martin C. and Teresa Jones; only daughter Tina Ellis; grandchildren Wade and Tiana Ellis; Stephanie, Michael, Kyle, Vincent, Haley, Dylan, and Trevor Jones, step-grans Archie Hawkins, and Jarren Priestly; great-grandchildren Destiny Johns, Tory Clark, Mateo and Camryn Jones; adopted daughter Billie Jean Roland (Herb), their daughter Amani, and best friends Mrs. Bess (Sam) Goode, Mrs. Gertrude Johnson, Mrs. Zealer Landers (Hubert), Mrs. Doris Monroe (Effort), Ms. Gertherine Cyiark, Mrs. Jan White (John), and Ms. Margaret Billingsley. She is also survived by 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. Also survived by her husband's children; Carolyn and Ernest Nellon, Calvin and Gail Booth, Carl and Kim Booth, Carnell Roberson, Roenia Booth, Elois and Ed Ransom; and his 18 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Roberta Jones Booth will lie in state on Thursday, July 24, 2003 from 11am to 7pm at the Columbus Bible Way Church - 2260 Rhoads Ave. (next to the old Watkins ES).
