On February 21 two hundred and seventy-five organizers from across the country participated in Hudson Bay Company's semi-annual canvassers' conference. Besides meeting people from other grassroots groups, the organizers took part in training worshops, heard speakers, and held a talent show. Speakers included Sandy Buchanan of Ohio Citizen Action, Chris Williams of Citizens Action Coalition and Amber Amundson of September Eleventh Families For Peaceful Tomorrows . The Hudson Bay Company is the largest network of door to door canvassing groups in the nation.
