Jennifer has a strong commitment to the protection of the environment and the preservation of open lands. She says, "Having spent all but two years of my life in eastern Ohio, I have witnessed the decimation of some of our most precious environs."

She views her position on the Board of Directors as "an opportunity to enjoy a role in enhancing the future of an organization I have worked with over the years and have great respect for." Jennifer has done her share of canvassing. She speaks from experience when she says, "I have a passion for the ability of a grass roots movement to bring about change. Having spent the better part of my adult life involved in politics and campaigns, I have seen first hand the success that can be had by base level organizing."
